Watch: 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' Deleted Scene With Mystique & Behind-The-Scenes Look At Sunspot

One of the more welcome surprises of this past summer was the time-bending “X-Men: Days Of Future Past,” with its appealing combination of the best elements of both “X-Men: First Class” and the original trilogy featuring Professor X’s School for Gifted Youngsters. With the home video release only a couple of weeks away, the studio has released a small taste of the bonus features in the form of a deleted scene and a behind-the-scenes look.

Running just under a minute long, the short scene would have taken place after Magneto shoots Mystique in Paris and features Jennifer Lawrence, without the trademark blue makeup, catching up with her old pals, James McAvoy’s Xavier and Nicholas Hoult’s Beast. It’s a tense scene, underscored by the lingering hurt shared between Mystique and Xavier.
