Annual tomato battle leaves Spanish town awash in red pulp

BUNOL, Spain (AP) — Thousands of people pelted each other with tons of ripe tomatoes Wednesday, creating a red, mushy mess in the annual "Tomatina" street battle in eastern Spain.
