FTSE LIVE: Footsie flat with US and Asian markets as Yellen speech looms

In opening deals, the FTSE 100 index was down 0.5 points at 6,816.4, having closed 18.88 points lower yesterday as commodity stocks retreated as the dollar rose ahead of Yellen's speech.
