Alberta’s police watchdog investigating whether pedestrian killed on Highway 881 was hit by police

The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team said it has been called in to investigate the death of a 41-year-old pedestrian who was reportedly walking down the middle of a northern Alberta highway early Sunday morning.
