Wayne Newton ‘thankful’ for final connection with brother Jerry

Wayne and Jerry Newton were known as the Newton Brothers, a hot lounge act at the Fremont in the late-1950s. Their relationship fractured, and was repaired just before Jerry passed away Aug. 10.
