ARM strikes deal with arch-rival Intel to make microchips for smartphones

Semi-conductor maker Intel said one of its factories will make chips based on ARM designs for mobile phone maker LG. It comes after ARM agreed to a £24bn takeover by Japan’s SoftBank.
