US Presidential Candidate Clinton Paid Effective Tax Rate of 43.2% in 2015

US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton paid an effective federal income tax rate of 34.2% and an effective state and local income tax rate of 9.0% for a combined federal, state, and local effective tax rate of 43.2%, according to the candidate’s campaign office.
