Ankara Suspends Over 5,000 Education Staff Over Alleged Ties to Cleric Gulen

Turkey's Council of Higher Education (YOK) on Friday suspended 5,342 educational workers for alleged ties to cleric Fethullah Gulen suspected of guiding the recent military coup in the country, local media reported.
