Council majority cuts mayor's office budget in effort to eliminate tax hike

The Republican majority on the Lincoln City Council rendered its almost-final decision Wednesday on cuts to Mayor Chris Beutler’s two-year budget plan that will eliminate the need for a property tax hike.
