Man dead, wife hurt in home shooting

A woman is in a critical condition after she was shot three times in her Durban home.

Durban - A woman is in a critical condition after she was shot three times on Tuesday in her Rockford, Phoenix, home.

Her husband was found dead with a bullet wound to the head, in an apparent attempted murder-suicide.

Police spokeswoman, Captain Nqobile Gwala, said a man had been found dead and a woman injured.

She said an inquest docket had been opened. A firearm was found next to the man.
