UK firms could be forced to pump millions into pension funds in the aftermath of the BHS collapse

Figures from the Pension Protection Fund show that 5,945 defined benefit schemes have a combined deficit of £383.6bn. MPs on the Work and Pensions Select Committee pledged to tackle the issue.
