Russian natural gas supply to Armenia already resumed
YEREVAN, August 5. /ARKA/. Russian natural gas supply to Armenia through Georgia’s territory was resumed Thursday at 18:38, Gazprom Armenia CJSC’s press office reported on Friday.
The gas supply was ceased on July 10, 2016 because of a repair of a section of the backbone gas pipeline in Georgia’s territory.
Over that period natural gas has been taken from Abovyan underground reservoirs to cater for gas consumers’ needs.
Gazprom Armenia CJSC is the sole importer and distributor of natural gas in Armenia. --0--
