A soldier killed in Nagorno-Karabakh
YEREVAN, August 4. /ARKA/. A 19 year-old soldier was killed on Thursday in Nagorno-Karabakh, the NKR Ministry of Defense said today. The conscript, Vahan Mikaelyan, born in 1997, died in unclear circumstances on August 4 at 9.30 pm at a military unit.
NKR Defense Army started an investigation to determine the details of the incident.
"The NKR Defense Ministry shares the grief of loss and expresses its support for the family members, relatives and colleagues of the deceased soldier," the ministry said in a press release.
This is was the second death of Armenian soldier in NKR in just two days. Earlier, on August 3 Armenian serviceman Gevorg Harutyunyan (b. 1996) was killed in a mine explosion on the eastern direction of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh). -0—
