Hawks nab 'mastermind' behind R6.8m education department fraud

The Gauteng Hawks' Specialised Commercial Crime Investigation Unit has nabbed the mastermind behind a "ghost employees" scam that cost the provincial education department an estimated R5 million‚ Hawks spokesperson Ndivhuwo Molamu said on Monday.
