Turkish attackers had Swiss-made grenades

Swiss hand grenades were found on the perpetrators of the March 2014 attack in Turkey’s central Anatolian region of Nigde, a Swiss newspaper reported on Sunday. The attack left two Turkish security personnel and one civilian truck driver dead and is considered the first to be carried out in that country by the Islamic State militant group. A Turkish court in June sentenced three members of IS to multiple life jail terms and a fourth member to several years in prison over the attack.
