Turkey Shuts Down Military Academies Following Failed Coup

Ankara dismissed 1,389 servicemen amid suspicions of ties with the Gulen movement accused by Ankara of orchestrating the failed coup attempt in the country, the Anadolu news agency reported on Sunday.
