HAMISH MCRAE: Dust is settling after Brexit vote, at least as far as financial markets are concerned

If things do settle down, this will have been a middle-ranking shock, like the time the pound was kicked out of the European exchange rate mechanism in 1992 rather than the meltdown of 2008-9.
