Taliban Commander, Six Militants Killed in Blast in Eastern Afghanistan

A group of six Taliban militants and their commander were killed in an accidental explosion while planting an improvised explosive device in the Afghan eastern province of Logar, the Afghan Interior Ministry said Thursday as cited by local media.
