Blast at Shanghai Airport Leaves Three Injured

A blast rocked Shanghai Pudong International Airport, leaving three people injured, Xinhua reported on Sunday.

The explosion has taken place in the check-in area at the airport's Terminal 2, the Chinese news agency reported.

The blast happened when “what appears to be a home-made explosive blew up”.

The explosion was suspectedly caused by fire-crackers, according to unconfirmed media reports.
