FIFA Expects to Adopt Amendments to Football Game Rules in March 2018

The amendments that can be adopted by 2018 will concern three of the existing football rules – video replays of contentious game moments to help the referees make decisions, the triple punishment, which will be abolished, and the fourth shift of team members in extra time, according to FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
