Borei Class Subs Become Part of Russian Navy's Permanent Readiness Force

Northern Fleet's Borei class strategic nuclear submarines have been assigned to the Russian navy's permanent readiness force, Northern Fleet Commander Vice-Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov said on the eve of the fleet's 283rd anniversary on Wednesday.
