Armenian, Iranian defense ministers point out impossibility of solving Karabakh problem by military actions
YEREVAN, April 27. /ARKA/. Seyran Ohanyan, Armenian defense minister, met with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Dehghan on Wednesday in Moscow, where both ministers traveled for the fifth security forum.
At their meeting, the ministers pointed out that the results of the recent four-day war in Karabakh showed impossibility of solution of Karabakh problem by military actions.
According to the press office of the Armenian defense ministry, Ohanyan and Dehghan voiced concern over the current escalation of tension in Karabakh conflict zone and stressed the necessity of easing it and forming a mutual trust atmosphere.
On April 2, 2016 Azerbaijan launched military assaults along the entire perimeter of its contact line with Nagorno Karabakh.
A ceasefire arrangement was announced four days later, but the Azerbaijani side violates it every night. --0---
