No time for Pollyannas

It takes real optimism and a little foolhardiness to live and work in Ukraine, not just for foreigners but also for Ukrainians. This is a tough country, but we love the place. It is sometimes amusing to hear the conclusions drawn by those living abroad who, while also loving Ukraine, visit briefly, talk with top insiders and announce that everything is coming up roses.
