Reformer of the week: Serhiy Horbatyuk
Serhiy Horbatyuk, head of the department for trials in absentia at the Prosecutor General’s Office, is responsible for investigations into the more than 100 murders of EuroMaidan demonstrators and some graft cases against allies of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych. Considering Yanukovych and his allies are accused of organizing the murders and stealing billions of dollars, Horbatyuk’s role is critical.
