Podcast: The Hosts Of Over/Under Movies Break Out Their Boomsticks For An 'Evil Dead' Showdown
Over/Under Movies is back. On this 46th episode of the podcast, in which an overrated and underrated film within the same genre, style or tone are pitted against each other, the choice fell on yours truly, and I decided to go for an "Evil Dead" showdown.

Believe it or not, I think Fede Alvarez's remake from 2013 is a little better than Sam Raimi's original. Both films tell the well-worn story about a group of young folks going to a cabin in the woods and who unwittingly and foolishly unleash a demonic spirit that takes them apart one by one, sometimes in hilarious fashion. I'm joined by my co-hosts Ryan Oliver and Oktay Ege Kozak, who don't necessarily agree with my brazen dismissal of such a beloved '80s horror film.
