Council meeting chaos after councillor ‘jokes’ about death of ANC supporters

A Nelson Mandela Bay council meeting descended into chaos barely 10 minutes after it started‚ when United Democratic Movement (UDM) councillor Mongameli Bobani conveyed his condolences to the 11 African National Congress (ANC) supporters who died in a bus crash‚ saying “unfortunately they died on their way back from an empty stadium”.
