The state to cover Armenian servicemen’s treatment expenses abroad

“It was suggested that the Ministry of Defence should use financial resources to cover these costs, but in fact the government will bear the cost”, said Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.

Treatment amount includes costs for surgical intervention or other procedures (check-ups) by foreign health organization, including rehabilitation expenses.

The Government pointed out that the decision refers not only to the participants of large-scale military operations, but also to all the soldiers who were injured in the line of duty or while performing military duty in the frontline.
