Grozny Avia to resume flights to Armenia, Poland, Slovakia
YEREVAN, April 21. /ARKA/. Grozny Avia, a Chechen air company, is planning to resume its international flights, Hasan Salgiriev, CEO of the company, told TASS.
It has become known earlier that Rosaviatsia, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency, prohibited Grozny Avia from operating international flights, and an appropriate decree, signed by Alexander Neradko, head of Rosaviatsia, has been posted on the agency's website.
Salgiriev said the restriction had been initiated by the air company itself.
«Our step was not prompted by service quality and technical state of our flying stock,» he said. «Theer were some nuances connected with internal problems. We asked Rosaviatsia to give us time, up to one month, for taking some correcting measures for resumption of international flights, and Rosaviatsia agreed.»
Before the prohibition, the air company operated international flights to Poland, Slovakia and Armenia (Yerevan).
Now the Chechen company is making necessary preparations for summer season. --0---
