UN Peacekeeps Sex Scandal Masks Political Progress in CAR - Official

Optimism generated by the Central African Republic’s (CAR) newly elected government has been overshadowed by lurid charges of sexual abuse by UN peacekeeping forces, UN Under Secretary General for Peacekeeping Operations Herve Ladsous told the Security Council on Friday.
