UNLV coach Chris Beard leaves for Texas Tech job

One of the most tumultuous stretches in a UNLV basketball program that has had many over the years became more chaotic Friday when Chris Beard informed Rebels officials that he was leaving to become Texas Tech’s basketball coach.
