Man accused of conspiring to murder Bacon brothers granted bail

A Calgary man accused of being part of a conspiracy to murder the Bacon brothers seven years ago has been ordered released on $200,000 bail.

Reasons for the release of Billy Ly, 31, cannot be reported due to a publication ban that was imposed at the bail hearing in B.C. Supreme Court in Vancouver. Such bans are routine at bail hearings in Canada.
