World Bank Claims $20Bln for Internet Access Initiatives in Poor Countries

More than 100 participants at an Internet access conference at the World Bank detailed 65 planned or actual initiatives to provide on-line access for impoverished populations in the Third World, the US Department of State said in a press release on Thursday.
