"It's Pretty Dark": Gal Gadot Talks 'Wonder Woman'
Though Jai Courtney says otherwise, the initial rumors kicking around town were that the reshoots for "Suicide Squad" were being done to the help lighten the mood of the movie after the tone of "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" seemed to rub people the wrong way. But at the end of the day, DC Films have their own grit that's a bit different than the sheen of the Marvel films (though it's quite possible "Captain America: Civil War" changes that perception). And according to Gal Gadot, "Wonder Woman" won't have a lot of light either.

"In 'Batman v Superman,' you get a glimpse of who she is but not where she comes from," she told Digital Spy. "In 'Wonder Woman,' this would be the first time we ever tell the coming-of-age story of how Diana becomes Wonder Woman. It's very interesting. It has moments of humor, but it's pretty dark."
