London - Guus Hiddink has told Chelsea’s hierarchy to move quickly and be transparent in their search for a new manager.

The club held productive talks this week with the representatives of Italy manager Antonio Conte and on Friday Chelsea interim boss Hiddink said he was ‘in favour’ of a speedy resolution to the situation.

‘For me it’s not a problem to be transparent when announcing who will be the next manager,’ added Hiddink.

‘The example is now Man City. They know Pep Guardiola is coming, and there were questions, but is Manuel Pellegrini losing more authority? No.’
