West Ham boss Slaven Bilic rates Liverpool as title contenders.

The Reds have claimed back-to-back 1-0 victories over the festive period so far and have leapfrogged the Hammers into seventh place.

Bilic said: "Liverpool are contenders to win the league, like the other teams above them. If they have a good run, of course they can win it."

Bilic also hailed his German counterpart Klopp and believes he has been a fantastic addition to the English game.

He added: "Klopp has been a boost for the Premier League.

"All the big clubs wanted to take him. He is good for the league. Expectations are high."
