Crestwood apartment fire leaves 7 seniors displaced

Seven senior citizens were left homeless by a fire at an apartment complex in southwest suburban Crestwood late Wednesday. The blaze happened in the 4900 block of 134th Court, according to the Chicago Red Cross, which was assisting the displaced people Thursday morning. Crestwood fire officials could not immediately be reached for more details.
