Troubled Indian drinks group United Spirits to pull a 'sickie' with watchdogs in order to oust entrepreneur chairman Vijay Mallya

The firm, in which Guinness and Johnnie Walker whisky maker Diageo has a 55 per cent stake, seeks shareholder approval next month to tell watchdogs about its financial condition.
