Stranded snowboarder rescued from Creston backcountry

A snowboarder who became lost in backcountry near Creston was rescued thanks to a police dog, his handler, and a team of rescuers who dug the man out. On Sunday around 5 p.m., Creston RCMP were notified that a 23-year-old Creston man had become lost while snowboarding on Thompson Mountain.
