Watersprint Acquires Assets of Canadian UVC LED Specialist Acuva Technologies
Lund-based water treatment innovator Watersprint has announced the acquisition of all assets of Canada-based Acuva Technologies, following Acuva’s recent bankruptcy. The deal includes Acuva’s intellectual property and patented IntenseBeam Technology, known globally for its energy-efficient UVC LED water purification systems.
Strategic Expansion into Global Markets
The acquisition positions Watersprint as a stronger player in the global water treatment market, particularly in residential and OEM sectors such as bottle filling, water dispensers, and recreational vehicles.
