Armenia's power generation in January-September up 3% to over 6.8 billion kWh

YEREVAN, 6 November. /ARKA/. Over 6.8 billion kWh of electricity was generated in Armenia in January-September 2024, which is 3% more than in the same period of 2023, the National Statistical Committee of Armenia said./pp

The thermal power plants account for the largest share of generated electricity - 38.4% or over 2.6 billion kWh, a decline of 8.4%./pp

The Armenian NPP produced about 1.9 billion kWh, a growth of 5.5% (27.6% of the total), and the f HPPs produced a little over 2.6 bllion kWh, a decline of 8.4%)./pp

Heliostations (share - 11.8%) produced 811.2 million kWh of electricity during the reporting period (up 31.8%), while wind farms (share - 0.02%) produced 0.9 million kWh (down 36%).-0-/p
