Armenian State Revenue Committee collects 2.1 trillion drams in 9 months

YEREVAN, October 3 /ARKA/. Armenian tax and customs authorities collected a total of 2.1 trillion drams in the first 9 months of this year, of which 243.4 billion drams were refunded to taxpayers and individuals.br/pp

According to Armenian State Revenue Committee (SRC) press service, the actual performance in terms of tax revenues and customs duties amounted to 1.8 trillion drams, which is 150.2 billion drams or 9.3% more than the figure for the same period last year.nbsp;/pp

In January-September of this year, the tax authority collected revenues in the amount of 1.7 trillion drams, which exceeds the figure for the same period last year by approximately 189.1 billion drams or 12.5%.nbsp;/pp

During the reporting period, the customs authority collected about 312 billion drams, which is 60.8 billion drams or 16.3% less than the figure for January-September last year./pp

About 243.4 billion drams were refunded to taxpayers and individuals (the figure does not include 49.6 billion drams of mortgage refunds, which were not deducted from income tax), which is 21.8 billion drams or 8.2% less than the figure for last year (the figure for 2023 includes a 24 billion drams refund on mortgages).nbsp;/pp ‘’If we consider the January-September 2023 figures as they calculated in 2024, namely without deducing mortgage income tax refunds, the collected revenues for the first 9 months of 2024 would be AMD 112.7 billion, or 6.8% more than the comparable year-ago figure’’, the report said. -0-/p
