YEREVAN, September 20 /ARKA/. The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia has stopped an attempt to import more than 58 thousand packs of cigarettes bypassing customs control, reports the press service of the agency.br/pp

Recently, a truck with iodized salt arrived in Armenia from Iran. As a result of X-ray scanning, suspicions arose that the bags of salt may contain goods hidden from customs control./pp

During the customs inspection conducted at the Agarak checkpoint, 58,750 packs of cigarettes of various brands hidden from customs control were discovered./pp

A protocol on violation of customs regulations has been drawn up on this fact, and an investigation is underway. -0-/p
