Armenia fines employers 37.2m drams for unregistered workers in July

YEREVAN, August 21. /ARKA/. In July, Armenian authorities penalized 53 employers for hiring workers without proper registration, resulting in fines totaling 37.2 million drams, the country’s State Revenue Committee reported on Wednesday./pp

Out of these, 17 employers were fined 25.2 million drams for having three or more unregistered employees. The violations occurred across various sectors, including security services, dairy production, food services, grocery stores, construction, sports and entertainment, rental services, non-alcoholic beverage production, and hardware stores, among others./p
