Eurasian Economic Forum 2024 to be held in Yerevan in late September

YEREVAN, 16 August. /ARKA/. On August 15, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Ger Grigoryan, acting rotating chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, chaired an online meeting of the Organising Committee of the Eurasian Economic Forum - 2024, the government said./pp

The forum, scheduled for 30 September - 1 October in Yerevan, is timed to coincide with the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which is scheduled to review the results of the ten-year functioning of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The prospects and priorities of its development will also be discussed, the EEU said./pp

The forum is aimed at improving co-operative ties between the EEU member states./pp

It will be attended by heads of large, medium and small businesses, government authorities of the member states, as well as third countries and representatives of international organisations interested in developing cooperation with the EEU./pp

The forum includes more than 30 events, including a plenary session with the participation of the heads of government of the EEU countries./pp

The Eurasian Economic Forum is an annual business event of the EEU, which is held alternately in one of the EEU states. The current chairing country is Armenia. -0-/p
