Previously, Simonyan announced that Armenia would soon appoint a new ambassador to Russia./pp

Media reports suggested that the Armenian government plans to replace the current ambassador to Russia, Vagharshak Harutyunyan, with Gurgen Arsenyan. However, the Russian side reportedly decided not to approve Arsenyan as the new ambassador due to some of his alleged “anti-Russian statements”. Arsenyan has denied these claims./p br br
