Dilijan Wine Festival scheduled for 3-4 August

YEREVAN, 30 July. /ARKA/. The resort town of Dilijan in Armenia's Tavush region will host the DILIJAN WINE FEST 2024 wine festival on 3-4 August./pp
As the Ministry of Economy informed, the wine festival is organised for the third time with the support of the Tourism Committee and the Wine and Viticulture Foundation of Armenia.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/pp
This time we have attracted a record number of Armenian brands to participate in the festival. More than 40 wineries and restaurants will surprise the guests with new flavours. In recent years, the culture of winemaking in Armenia has been rapidly developing, more and more attention is paid to specific varieties of high quality wines and grapes,’ said Roman Orlenko, Line Director of TimeTo Festival./pp
Acting Head of the Tourism Committee Susanna Hakobyan, in her turn, noted that enotourism is one of the main directions of Armenia's tourism market due to the rich history and culture of winemaking in the country.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/pp
Tavush marz is one of the five wine-making regions of the country. We welcome the organisation of a wine festival here, where both local wine lovers and guests from abroad will be able to participate,’ Hakobyan noted./pp
Visitors to DILIJAN WINE FEST 2024 will enjoy a wine fair, tasting, wine painting and traditional grape stomping ceremony. The organisers expect more than 5000 guests./pp
This year, the main band of the musical programme will be The Reincarnation Orchestra. Two thematic stages will feature jazz, as well as DJ sets of favourite artists./pp
For the first time at Dilijan Wine Fest, gorgeouz beats, a band known for its arrangements of Armenian classics, will perform. ALEN HERTZ (TERIAKI) and DJ TOX, a trio consisting of Dave Geodakian, Sona Gyulhasyan and Rafael Petrosyan, will also perform on the DJ stage./pp
