YEREVAN, 29 July. /ARKA/. A technical proposal on installation of video surveillance system in kindergartens run by the Yerevan Municipality has been developed, it emerged at a meeting of the City Hall on Monday./pp

It was noted that necessary purchases are being made. Earlier it was reported that installation of video surveillance cameras in kindergartens of the capital will cost AMD 135 million (almost $350 thousand)./pp

Representatives of the capital authorities have studied the location and architectural plans of about 50 municipal kindergartens and decided to install 1,700 video cameras./pp

The move comes after a video has appeared in the Armenian segment of social networks, showing a kindergarten employee shouting at a child and beating him. Judging by the comments, the shocking incident took place in a kindergarten in Pokr Vedi community. -0-/pp nbsp;/pp/pp nbsp;/p
