Armenian government extends social support for families of missing persons and hostages

YEREVAN, July 4. /ARKA/. During its regular session on Thursday, the Armenian government decided to extend social support to families of civilians who have gone missing as a result of hostilities, as well as those held hostage./pp

According to the decision, 6.6 million drams will be allocated to 11 families for May and June 2024./pp

In another decision aimed at continuing social support, the government will provide assistance to families of missing military personnel. The payment will amount to 300,000 drams per family through June. In total, 23 beneficiary families will receive 13.8 million drams for July and August. The funds required for this support will be sourced from the reallocation of budgetary resources assigned to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia./p
