“Given the growing content and dynamics of bilateral relations, we hope that our strategic dialog will be raised to a new level of the Strategic Partnership Commission, which can further strengthen the structural foundations of our multilateral cooperation,” Mirzoyan said in his opening remarks Tuesday at the closing session of the Armenia-U.S. Strategic Dialogue Capstone in Yerevan, attended by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien.nbsp;br
According to Mirzoyan, there is an opportunity to discuss the growing economic cooperation, including the trade and investment framework agreement between Armenia and the U.S. to further liberalize trade, which can lead to the development of the economy and make it more sustainable.nbsp;br
Mirzoyan expressed confidence that there are additional mechanisms and effective tools to diversify the economy, noting that these issues will be discussed.nbsp;br
“Considering the challenges, energy diversification is also an important component of our agenda, and we will discuss the work already done and consider the prospects, including in the spheres of nuclear energy and renewable sources,” Mirzoyan noted.nbsp;br
The Armenian Foreign Minister also emphasized with satisfaction the holding of the Eagle Partner 2023 military exercises. “We are interested in exploring further opportunities for cooperation in reforming Armenia's defense sphere,” Mirzoyan said. -0--br
