Rihanna Goes To Space In Luc Besson's ‘Valerian’ With Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne

It seems there is nothing that Rihanna aka RiRi can't do. She's a chart topping pop sensation, Grammy winner, and yes, actress. She counts "Battleship," "This Is The End," and "Annie" among her credits, and she's lined up what might her biggest role, in her biggest movie yet.

Rihanna will join Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne in Luc Besson's "Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets." It's an adaptation of the celebrated French sci-fi-turned-series "Valerian," which tells the story of a pair of time- and space-traveling special agents in the 28th century. The project is a massive one, with three different VFX companies hired to do all the digital work, but there's no word yet on Rihanna's role, so we'll just have to wait and see.

'Valerian' starts filming in January and will open on July 21, 2017. Let's hope Rihanna gets some juicy one liners.... [Variety]
